The Hostel - Outside
There is a large lawn and picnic bench outside (camping available by prior arrangement), also sheds for bikes, laundry & drying.
The Minister's Path, to Glen Clova, part of the recently upgraded East Cairngorms footpath trail, runs nearby.Also the newly opened link along the river Prosen and across Cormuir to join the Cateran trail in Glen Isla.
We are on the very southernmost edge of Cairngorms National Park. Red squirrel often pass the window. The glen is teeming with wildlife including blackgame, ptarmigan; if you are lucky, you may see an otter or an eagle!
